Pete, Pete Reed Coaching/TeamSWIFT, Craig Lane, Humber Triathletes and Pam, Hull Achilles Running Club. What can I say, motivating, informative and excellent coaching, I love every minute I spend at your sessions, but most importantly, they deliver exactly what I need. You really instilled in me a sense of belief that I can do this and do it well. It is overwhelming the amount of time you give up and always willing to help me. I am lucky to have you, from the bottom of my heart, thank you!
Humber Triathletes, to everyone I trained and raced with this season. I have not been part of the team for long but you all made me and my brother Gabriel feel very welcome. In my opinion it is the best multi-sport club around with members regularly taking part in triathlons, cycling, open water swimming and running races. Looking forward to winter training with you all, great group of athletes I have the privileged to train with.
A special thank you to my sponsor Bulk Powders for their generosity and continuing support. Nothing is more important to me than staying healthy so I don’t have to miss races or training. For me Bulk Powders provided all that, I like the fact that everything is made in-house and their commitment to quality is second to none. Since starting with Bulk Powders I have not had a single cold or felt ill in months even with hard training sessions and early mornings, I just don’t feel tired like I used to. Check out their website www.bulkpowders.co.uk as they offer the absolute highest quality sports nutrition supplements available and the site is always packed full of healthy recipes that I try at home, the Vegan Goji Fudge Protein Brownies are to die for!
Liam O’Neill and Rob Harvey, it has been a totally unique experience racing as a Junior GB Athlete this year and I am so honoured and privileged to be part of the GB Academy. I always look forward to the Academy Days as they provide such comprehensive training and instruction, I always leave having learnt something new. I appreciate all that you have done for me, you devote so much time to us on these days.
To Eleven Sprocket, to me my most important piece of equipment is my bike, nowhere else will your choices of equipment have quite the same impact on your race, no other component will affect the way your bike rides more than the wheels. I went to meet with Eleven Sprocket and took my training bike. Chris and Matt fitted the Carbon Clincher Rim Wheels on and as soon as I started to ride it made my mediocre frame feel quicker and more responsive. It actually made it weigh less and perform better all I could think at the time was how it would feel to have this fantastic piece of kit on my race bike. By getting this unbelievable generous sponsorship from Eleven Sprocket I know now I will be able to race with professional quality wheels as they use unique carbon wheel technology that utilises new processes and materials. If you don’t believe me take a look for yourself, these wheels are amazing. www.elevensprocket.co.uk/
Richard Weare Charitable Trust and Two Riding Community Foundation, I would like to thank them for their generosity and kindness to help me reach my goals and dreams in triathlon by awarding me the grant. My jaw dropped when I was given the news that they had offered me the award. It make’s a huge difference. I would like to take this opportunity to also thank James Murphy for putting my name forward to the trust and to Jackie McCaffery and the grants team. Your generosity makes a huge difference.
Mum, Dad my brother Gabriel and sister Mia, Nana & Granddad, auntie Jos & Ian and Granddad Terry. Your support all year has been immense and I love you all very much, thank you for a been there for me.
I would also like to say a quick thank you to Mark Harrison and Craig Lane, Humber Triathletes for going to all the trouble and giving up their free time to do the Maximal Ramp Test with me back in August.
Thank you to everyone, “I truly appreciate all your help”
